Ratatouille: The Adventure
Worlds of Pixar, Walt Disney Studios Park
Shrink down to the size of a rat to explore Gusteau’s kitchen and restaurant from the same perspective as Remy. Zip through the kitchen, avoiding hazards and try not to be spotted in the dining room! This trackless ride will take you inside the movie. While this ride has 3D technology it is currently being operated in 2D only.
There are no height restrictions but the attraction is not advised for pregnant women.

Queueing
The ride offers a premier access queue and a single rider queue. The accessible queue for all pass holders is the same queue as for premier access so the wait time can vary and be hard to predict.
The queue itself is all smooth and easy to navigate in a wheelchair.
The queue is all indoors, it is quite dark and at times feels quite narrow, it can get quite busy and could be difficult to leave if there are a lot of people behind you in the queue.
There is no seating in the queue area.

Ride Access
Guests ride in a rat shaped vehicle with two rows, each seating up to 3 people. There is a slight step into the vehicle. The ride uses a lap bar.
A wheelchair accessible rat is available, which can accommodate a wheelchair user and one companion. I found it quite easy to board the accessible vehicle as you drive straight on into the position with no turns to negotiate.
Guide and Assistance dogs are allowed to ride.

Ride Comfort
The ride vehicle is quite comfortable, and the ride is quite smooth. The ride uses effects such as water mist and scents, to make you feel you are in a kitchen, so this is worth considering for those with sensory concerns.
I get motion sickness and find this ride is one of the worst for it. It can leave me feeling quite unwell which is not something you really want when trying to enjoy your day at Disney! This was however worse when the ride was in 3D and is slightly better with the ride in 2D, for may anyway.

Wheelie Good Score
The ride has lovely theming and a clever trackless ride system, and the area around the ride is beautiful. It’s also great that it has a wheelchair accessible vehicle so transferring is not required, but even if you do transfer the ride is one of the easier ones to get on and off.
However, for me the motion sickness it causes is significant, I can only really tolerate the ride if I close my eyes at certain points, so for me that lowers my score!
For me it's a Wheelie Good Score of 3 out of 5.
Board the wheelchair accessible rat with me!
See what to expect when using the wheelchair accessible vehicle to ride Ratatouille!
