Disneyland Hotel

5 Star luxury with a regal princess theming

The Disneyland Hotel is the crown jewel of the Disneyland Paris hotels, and sits, literally, at the entrance to Disneyland Park. The location and proximity of this hotel to the parks is a massive plus and it is also the only 5 star hotel. It has a beautiful regal princess theme.

This hotel is described as the ultimate 5-star destination where everyone can celebrate magical stories and write their own. It reopened in January 2024 following a massive refurbishment so is fresh and modern while still retaining a very classical royal theming.

As with all the onsite hotels you get access to Early Magic Hour when staying here so you can access the Disney Parks one hour before general opening.

The hotel has a bar, a table service restaurant and a buffet restaurant, both offering character dining and a fine dining restaurant. The hotel also has a spa.

Location and Park Access

From this hotel access to the Disneyland Park is within metres of exiting the hotel lobby, and only a couple of minutes walk through Fantasia gardens to reach the other park.

If being that close wasn’t enough on it’s own, this proximity also means you are already within the security area so there is no need to pass through security and bag check, another big bonus.

There is road access and a car park for this hotel, which also offers valet parking for all guests, although they do also have accessible parking available.

The Disneyland Hotel is the ultimate Disneyland Paris hotel in terms of luxury and elegance. It is also a large hotel with expansive wings and sometimes a somewhat convoluted route to your room!

Upon entering the hotel it does have a distinctive smell, which most people adore but is worth being aware of. Within the beautiful main lobby there are usually plenty of cast members available to assist and guide guests. Check in for most rooms, except for Castle Club rooms, is on this level. The flooring in the lobby is a mix of very smooth marble and very plush carpet.

The carpet throughout this hotel is very plush, while this looks luxurious I did find this one of the most difficult of all the hotels to self propel on!

While check in is all on the ground level, the hotel shop, bars and restaurants, and access to areas like the pool all require you to use the lifts to go up to the second floor, there are 3 lifts available and they are a decent size but there can be a bit of a wait at times.

All floors in this hotel are accessible by lift and features like the luggage service delivering your bags to your room mean that those luxury features also make great accessibility features.

There is a doorman at the doors at the very front of the hotel, ready to meet you as you arrive and available to take luggage and guide you to check in, and when exiting to the parks there are automatic doors though these can be a little intermittent. Upon exiting you are right at the Disneyland Park entrance and in fantasia gardens, with smooth tiled flooring. You are at the bottom of the hill up from the main park to Disney Adventure world though, but when tired upon returning to the hotel it is at least downhill then!

Castle Club at Disneyland Hotel

The Castle Club at Disneyland Hotel is sometimes described as a hotel within a hotel. Offering additional luxury, privacy and benefits the Castle Club is the ultimate stay. It offers both garden view and park view rooms, some with balconies and also a range of suites. There are accessible castle club rooms but the only accessible suite available is a Tangled themed junior suite,

The Benefits of Castle Club

As with all club levels the benefits can be split into room benefits, general benefits and the Lounge. Castle Club comes with a lot of benefits, albeit with an associated price tag.

The Castle Club rooms are slightly different to standard and deluxe rooms with some enhanced features:

The Castle Club Lounge

The Castle Club Lounge is a separate lounge area, which is available from noon on the day of check in until 11am on the day of departure, the lounge provides:

The Castle Club lounge has views out over the Disneyland Park, including the castle, making it a relaxed spot to sit and watch the fireworks.

Rooms

The Disneyland Hotel offers a few different Superior room options, including accessible rooms, family rooms and ones with a terrace. Some rooms have a large double bed and a pull down single, but most have two doubles, and the family rooms have two doubles plus usually a sofa bed.

They have air conditioning and include drink making facilities as standard, consisting of a kettle and a coffee machine (Lavazza Blue, if you want to bring your own pods, though they are replenished daily). Alongside Coffee and Tea the rooms also offer hot chocolate sachets. All rooms have mini fridge's which come with some water, fruit juice and snacks but these are not replenished. There are in room safes, a steamer and many other amenities such as shoe buffs, sewing kits and a shoe horn! All rooms have robes and slippers (and if not in the room they can be requested), available in both adult and child sizes.

Standard bathrooms have either a bath (though it has quite low sides) with a shower over, or a shower without a shower seat or stool. They provide shower gel, soap, shampoo and conditioner. These are replenished as required. There is a hairdryer and this is a separate plug in hairdryer which is much better than those available at some of the other hotels.

There is a large TV, disguised as a mirror. This is a modern smart TV and you can log into your Disney plus account (but you do need to use your own account). There are also accessible ports to connect using HDMI.

Electrical outlets are pretty plentiful, with a range of options including USB sockets, UK sockets and EU sockets, there are also USB ports by the beds. not as bad as at some Disney hotels but do have some limitations. I would still recommend bringing an extension lead and at least one EU adaptor though if you need to ensure devices can be positioned where you may need them.

While these non-accessible rooms usually have a bath or a shower without a seat the rooms themselves have been spacious enough to fit my chair into most areas, but it would not be possible to get a wheelchair close to the toilet in these rooms due to the bathroom layout, as the toilet is within the bathroom but seperated by a door. I could however get around the room and fit my chair between the beds.

Standard Room Tour Video

This video from Fairy Godmother shows a night we spent at the hotel in March 2026 and includes a tour of a standard superior room.

Accessible Rooms

Accessible rooms sleep up to three plus an infant but for groups of four there is a connected standard room included within the room price. The accessible room has one extra large double bed and one pull down single bed. The second standard room has two double beds. There is a small table and chairs and a desk and chair in the accessible room while the standard room has a desk and a plush bench seat.

The floor is carpeted, and this is quite deep pile, but there is a lot of space to move around in a wheelchair. The bed is on legs with space to fit a hoist underneath (though Disney do not provide these, but can help with hiring them). The room safe and one of the hanging rails can be reached and there is a lower level peephole in the door.  The door itself is heavy and there is a low threshold. There is also a low and wide threshold between the accessible room and the connected room, but this was shallower than in hotels like Sequoia Lodge.

There are no emergency cords, but as this is a five star hotel there is a phone next tto the toilet which has an emergency assistance option. There are plenty of plug sockets available and also other ports for USB cables, but I would always recommend bringing an extension and multiplug, especially if you need items to be plugged in by the bed. Don't forget an EU adaptor!

The accessible bathroom is a large wetroom with a door opening into the room, the light comes on automatically when you open the door.  There is a sink area with space to roll under, a raised toilet with a grab rail and a bidet attachment plumbed in next to the toilet. There is a roll in shower with a fold down shower seat with arms, and a shower curtain.

Hotel Facilities and Services

General Services

The hotel has a 24 hour reception, and concierge services. There is also separate receptions and concierge services for guests staying in Deluxe and Castle Club rooms and suites. Priority passes, easy access passes and Bambi bands (for pregnancy) can be collected or requested from the concierge.

There is a manned luggage storage room (free of charge) and you can also use Disney Express (paid service) to transfer your luggage to or from the train station, though this is not often needed given how close the hotel is to the station. Luggage is transferred between your room and the luggage storage at the hotel free of charge.

Room Service is available.

Display of blue apparel and gift items in an elegant retail setting.

Royal Collection Boutique - Hotel Shop

This hotel shop has some hotel themed items and some higher priced collaboration items, including a 1300 euro gucci childs princess dress. It also sells a range of Disney items and sells some pandora charms.

You can collect the discovery quest prize here and they also sometimes have stickers available on request.

Children's princess costumes displayed in a wooden wardrobe, featuring blue and yellow dresses.

My Royal Dream - Makeover experience

Adjoining to the shop the hotel offers a My Royal Dream experience, which allows both children and adults to have a makeover with hair styling, face painting, and for children the option to buy and/or wear their own costumes. Following the makeover experience guests receive a session with a photopass photographer. There are different prices for different levels of experience but it it also very popular and needs to be reserved in advance. More details can be found here on the Disneyland Paris website.

Pool Information

Crystal Pool and Health Club Accessibility

The Disneyland Hotel pool is all indoor, there is no outdoor pool. There are some loungers and cushioned seating areas within the pool area.

A self propellable pool wheelchair is available. I have always been allowed to take my manual chair to the poolside but there is a footbath that must be rolled through.

A pool hoist is available for the main pool, but not for the hot tub. The pool and hot tub both have   stepped access, including a handrail, rather than a ladder, though the hot tub steps are quite steep. Some swim aids are also available, and there is also a shallow splash area.

There is a sauna and steam room, in a seoerate area with a bench and accessible shower outside, and with wide doors. There is also a fitness centre and a Clarins spa with bookable spa services.

There is an accessible changing room with a pull down seat and a oull down grabrail that has not been operable on any of my visits as it appears to have been installed incorrectly. There is an accessible toilet which is spacious but doesn't have many grab rails and an accessible shower. Clarins shower gel, shampoo and conditioner is provided, along with Dyson hair dryers and a swimsuit spinner.

Character Meets

You can meet characters in the hotel at the Royal Kids Club, though you don't have to be a child. It is located on the ground floor near to the pool and spa.

The characters you will meet here are all Princesses, so characters like Belle, Cinderella, Rapunzel, Snow White and Aurora.

The meet is booked on the app and can only be booked by guests of the hotel, you can book a time from 7 days before your stay. Once you have used your first booking you can make another booking subject to availability. There is a photopass photographer.

For priority pass holders there is no need for anything separate as you have an appointment like with the virtual queue and there is usually only a short queue, though they have removed the seating that used to be available in the waiting area and the only seating now is low stools at low tables designed for children.

Dining Options

The Disneyland Hotel has three restaurants, with the main two both being character dining options, and a third, less well known fine dining option (La Foret Secrete) which you must phone to book.

The two main options are Royal Banquet, a buffet option with Mickey and friends in regal outfits and La Table de Lumiere, a table service restaurant where you are joined by royal couples.

Royal Banquet

Royal Banquet is a buffet, serving breakfast with no characters, and lunch and dinner with characters.

The restaurant consists of several different room areas, plus a main room holding the buffet. The rooms have different themes with different portraits, including of villains, and of sidekicks,

The stars here are Mickey and Minnie who appear during lunch and dinner wearing regal outfits designed specially for the restaurant. They are usually joined by either Donald and Daisy or by Pluto and Goofy, so you will usually get the mice and either the dogs or the ducks!

As this is a buffet there is a good range of options, but given the price point, with lunch and dinner costing 100 euros per adult , it is on the fancier side. There is a large seafood counter, an excellent cheese and salad selection as well as a number of main course options and an extensive dessert area.

The buffet does offer a range of vegetarian and vegan options, though the labelling can be confusing. There is an allergy file to refer to for other allergens but as this is a buffet there is a risk of cross contamination and the file is not laid out very well so can be confusing, it's always best to ask for help if needed.

There are a few different areas in the restuarant and some areas are more cramped than others, I am most often seated in the room with the buffet or in a small room nearby and this does usually work well for me as a wheelchair user. The restaurant can get busy and noisy but the range of rooms means there may be some areas you can request that are more tucked away and a bit quieter, including a room close to the entrance that has a smaller number of tables in it.

Some tables have a window view and this looks out over the park with a view of the castle, so if you are lucky eough to get one of those seats on an evening you may be able to see Tales of Magic from your table.

La Table de Lumiere

La Table de Lumiere is a table service restaurant, where you will be greeted by royal couples while enjoying your meal. The restaurant is themed to the Beasts castle from Beauty and the Beast.

The restaurant is beautiful, feeling very much like you are stepping into a castle, and as this is Beasts castle you are highly likely to get to meet Belle and the Beast in his human form during your dinner. Alongside meeting your hosts you are also likely to get to meet two other royal couples, such as Ariel and Eric or Aurora and her Prince. The royal couples will come to your table, and will sign autographs and take photos, but there are no photopass photographers.

This is an expensive restaurant at 120 euros per adult and the meal is fine dining. You are usually served an amuse bouche to start, then three courses plus petit fours at the end. Some modifications may be possible but these need to be requested with your server who can see what may be possible, but this is a set menu, available on the app.

There is a vegan option for each course and often the amuse bouche and/or part of the petit fours is usually vegan. An allergen file is available and the servers can also help with allergy information and allergy modifications, but as with all kitchens at Disneyland Paris, cross contamination can't be ruled out.

The atmosphere is quite formal but still relaxed enough that excited children are not an issue, and it is calm and relatively quiet. There are some different areas in the restaurant, including a small room with only a couple of tables which could be useful if needing a quieter space, but this would depend on availability on the night.

Fleur de Lys Bar
Two refreshing cocktails on a table, with a view of the lake outside.

The Fleur de Lys bar is a table service bar with two main seating areas, you can either sit within the bar area itself which is very classical and calm and has beautiful views out over fantasia gardens, or you can sit in the rotunda outside the bar and order drinks there, allowing you to people watch and enjoy a busier atmosphere.

This is the most expensive Disney bar but the drinks reflect that and the cocktails are beautiful. They do serve some bar snacks and these are also beutiful but may not be ideal for some wth plainer tastes. The full bar menu can be found on the app.

As this is a Disney Hotel it can be booked directly with Disneyland Paris, which is what I would recommend, especially if requiring an accessible room. Accessible rooms can't be booked online so you do need to call to reserve them.

You are able to contact the hotel concierge via email to arrange things like paid for in room packages and for help with restaurant bookings, they can also make a note of requests like to be closer to the lifts, but they cannot arrange accessible rooms, they must be organised through the main reservations team.

Castle Club rooms have a separate dedicated reservations line but the main reservations team can direct you to them.

The email for the hotel concierge is DLP.DLH.GUEST.RELATIONS@disney.com and for guests staying Deluxe Club it's DLP.DLH.RECEPTION.DELUXE@disney.com, while for Castle Club it is DLP.DLH.FO.CASTLE.CLUB@disney.com
