Disneyland Railroad
The Disneyland Railroad is an authentic steam train which takes you on a gentle and relaxing ride around the Disneyland Park. There are stations on Main Street U.S.A. and in Frontierland which are currently in use, plus stations in Fantasyland and Discoveryland which are not currently in use.
The ride is suitable for all ages and for those who are pregnant.
Main Street U.S.A. and Frontierland, Disneyland Park

Queueing
There is no premier access for this ride so all colours of priority pass use the accessible entrance. Most visitors will use the Main Street station to access the ride, for this station the standard entrance is up a flight of stairs but there is an accessible entrance with a lift, located near to the wheelchair hire shop, underneath the station.
There are 2 benches in the waiting area. There can be a wait depending on how many trains are running on any day. There are train station style announcements played.
The Frontierland station has ramp access.

Ride Access
You can usually take wheelchairs and mobility aids right up to the ride. If you are wanting to do a loop mobility aids such as wheelchairs and scooters may be left with cast members in the station, ones that can be lifted and/or folded can be carried on the train if wanting to get off at a different station,
There is a platform lift available to allow access to a wheelchair accessible carriage, though this is quite new. This may be limited to grey priority pass holders and may not be available for every train.
Guide and assistance dogs are permitted to ride.

Ride Comfort
The carriages usually seat a few people so you will likely be sharing with at least one other party. Priority Pass holders are usually seated at the very rear of the train. The seats are wooden benches with no armrests or seatbelts.
While the ride itself is smooth, with no drops and no flashing lights, and a light commentary, I find the seating very uncomfortable. Every time I ride I wish I had thought to bring my wheelchair cushion, one day I will remember it!

Wheelie Good Score
This ride is great for younger guests and a nostalgic treat for older ones! It’s quite a long ride so allows time for a but of a break and a rest.
You get to see an overview of the park layout but the areas it passes through are not necessarily the most exciting, and some areas are backstage roads, though this does mean sometimes you spot a character to wave at.
My personal Wheelie Good Score is 3 out of 5!
