Shopping and Restaurants

While the rides, shows and characters are a big part of your time at the parks you will likely also need to eat, fancy a snack, want to browse some shops and maybe need to hire something, so this section will provide links to a range of practical information about these aspects of your time at Disney.

One of the benefits of being at Disney is that the usual need to check restaurants and places in advance for accessibility information is largely unnecessary. While some locations have better accessibility features than others all Disney owned restaurants and shops are wheelchair accessible and have features such as hearing loops in key areas.

For restaurants that are bookable there is an option in the app to indicate if you require wheelchair access when booking a table.

Shopping at Disneyland Paris

Shopping can be part of the experience at Disneyland Paris, whether that's shopping for merchandise, realising you need supplies you forgot, or wanting to find stores for specialist foods or non Disney treats.

While I can't create information for every shop in Disney it is worth noting that all are accessible, all accept both cash and card payments, and they all have cast members available to assist.

The links in this section will provide information mostly about non-disney stores and how to get to them. This includes supermarkets, the large shopping centre, Val D'Europe, and essential stores like pharmacies and medical equipment stores.

Where can I get....

Sometimes you forget or need something you didn't pack, or need something you couldn't bring with you, here are some ideas about where to find some commonly needed items.

Medication - Paracetamol, calpol, antihistamines etc.

Only at a pharmacy, click on the link above for directions to the nearest pharmacy at Val d'Europe. Single doses can be obtained in person from First Aid.

Deodorant, toothpaste, sun cream, plasters, nappies, baby wipes, sanitary products etc.

The stroller and wheelchair hire shops in both parks and hotel shops, though they are usually hidden behind the counter and you need to ask for them. There is also a couple of small convenience style shops in the train station, and a garage out by Santa Fe.

Extra Bubble mix

The stroller and wheelchair hire shops often have the extra bottles of bubble mix, along with some of the stands that sell the bubble wands, they just won't usually be out on display so you may need to ask.

Milk

Almost all milk at Disney is UHT, but is still cows milk and as this is the norm in France the taste is similar to what we are used to in the UK. It can be bought form the shops in the station or the garage at Santa Fe, or smaller cartons are available in hotel shops and at most quick service food locations. Hotel bars will also often fill bottles for infants and young children. For Fresh milk you would need to visit a larger supermarket such as Auchan at Val d'Europe.

Non-Dairy milk is harder to find. Hotel breakfasts usually have soy milk and some have others, I have seen almond and coconut at Hotel New York. But for drinks in the parks it is very limited and you wither need to visit Starbucks or consider bringing your own (I bring sachets of oat milk).

Drinks and Snacks

Hotel shops have a small but expensive selection, so again the shops in the train station can be really useful for snacks and drinks, they also sell sandwiches and meal deals. You can also use uber eats to order groceries, and takeaway food, but you will need to go to your hotel reception/just outside to meet drivers.

Spare clothing, extra luggage, a pushchair etc.

There is a large Primark at Val d'Europe and also the Auchan there is a hypermarket with everything from luggage, to pushchairs to Paris souvenirs.

Restaurants

Everyone needs to eat, and whether that's hot dogs or fine dining Disneyland Paris has you covered. Restaurants can really add to the experience of your trip, with unique theming and food options, and some with the opportunity to meet characters too. The restaurants information here includes accessibility information and also general restaurant information, including my own opinions.
