A Royal Evening at the Regal View Restaurant, Disneyland Paris

Character dining at Disneyland Paris is always a special experience, but our recent visit to the Regal View Restaurant in Disney Adventure World took things to another level. This new fine dining, table-service experience combines elegant cuisine with something truly magical — personal encounters with Disney Princesses.
We visited as a group of eight, which included two wheelchair users and a variety of dietary requirements: vegan, gluten-free, and a nut allergy. Coordinating all of that could have been stressful — but thanks to exceptional service, it became one of the most memorable meals we’ve ever had at the park.
Service That Truly Shines
From the moment we sat down, we were looked after by our wonderful waiter, Cedric, who was nothing short of outstanding. Managing a large group with complex dietary needs is no small task, but Cedric handled everything with professionalism, warmth, and genuine care.
He meticulously double-checked every dish, cross-referenced allergy files, and made sure each person felt safe and confident in their meal choices. It’s rare to feel so reassured when dining with allergies and dietary restrictions, but here it felt effortless.
Beyond that, Cedric brought a sense of fun to the evening — even joining in with our antics (and learning that you can, in fact, do the Macarena to any song!).

Food: A Themed Royal Feast
One of the most unique aspects of dining at the Regal View Restaurant is that each dish is inspired by a different Disney Princess. Cedric took the time to explain the story and inspiration behind every course, which added a lovely narrative touch and made the experience feel even more immersive.
Across our group, opinions on the food were varied. Some felt that the style of the dishes leaned more toward being intricate and delicately styled than they personally preferred, while others really appreciated the creativity and attention to detail in both flavour and presentation.
As the only vegan in the group, I was the only one to try the plant-based main — and for me, it was a standout highlight. In fact, I’d go as far as saying it was the best vegan dish I’ve ever had at Disneyland Paris. It was thoughtful, beautifully executed, and full of flavour — a real triumph.

Princess Encounters to Remember
Throughout the meal, we were visited by four princesses in their charming adventuring outfits:
- Belle
- Aurora
- Ariel
- Merida
Each interaction was thoughtful, unhurried, and full of personality — exactly what you hope for in a character dining experience.
But one princess truly stole the show: Merida. Her energy, humour, and bubbly personality lit up the entire table. She embraced the fun completely — even joining us in doing the Macarena by the end of the meal! We actually met Merida again a few days later at the Princess Pavillion where as we entered she greeted us with ‘It’s the macarena crew!’

A Magical Finale
As if that wasn’t enough, Cedric went the extra mile and brought the chef out after we shared how much we’d enjoyed parts of the meal. What followed was a spontaneous, joyful moment where even the chef joined in the macarena fun — a perfect example of how special the atmosphere felt.
Accessibility & Comfort
Accessibility is often an afterthought in many dining locations, but the Regal View Restaurant really impressed us in this area, as it should really given it’s a brand new build!
The entire restaurant is step-free and all on one level, which made navigating the space smooth and stress-free for our two wheelchair users — and importantly, there are no lifts involved, so no worries about breakdowns or delays. The layout felt spacious, even with a large table, and we never felt cramped.
The accessible toilet was another highlight: generously sized, easy to use, and well-equipped with ample grab bars — something that can make a huge difference to the overall experience.
The atmosphere also deserves a mention. The restaurant was calm and not overly noisy, which made it easy for everyone to relax and enjoy the evening. The lighting struck a great balance too — soft enough to feel atmospheric, but bright enough to comfortably see your food (unlike Captain Jack's – Restaurant des Pirates, where it can be quite dark).
Is It Worth the Price?
At around €100 per adult, this is undeniably an expensive dining experience.
For us, the value came from:
- Exceptional, attentive service
- Seamless handling of dietary needs
- Incredible character interactions
- Memorable, one-of-a-kind moments
That said, not everyone in our group felt the food alone justified the price — so it really depends on what you’re looking for. If you value the full experience (and especially the princess interactions), it’s absolutely worth considering.
Final Thoughts
The Regal View Restaurant offers a truly magical and memorable dining experience, where storytelling, service, and character interactions come together beautifully. The attention to detail — from the princess-inspired dishes to the care taken with dietary requirements — really sets it apart.
The food itself will likely divide opinion depending on personal taste. While not every dish was a hit across our group, there were standout moments (especially for me, with the vegan main), and the creativity behind the menu is undeniable.
What truly makes this experience shine, though, is everything beyond the plate — the exceptional service, the thoughtful touches, and the unforgettable interactions with the princesses.
For us, it was an evening full of laughter, surprises, and genuine Disney magic — and that’s ultimately what made it feel worth it.One of us even went as far as to say they'd be inclined to say it was one of their favourite meals at Disneyland Paris in a long time!
